                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had multiple foldables from Honor over the last few years and this year I traded in my Honor Magic V5 for the Z Fold 8. And I am so glad I did. The form factor is far better, it's lighter, the display is epic, the crease is nearly non-existent, the battery is superb and holding the device in the hand is great. It's easily pocketable and is very snappy to use, very responsive and so far, I cannot say enough great things about it. I had questions about the camera but for standard photography, I really can't complain. I don't use a zoom lens so I don't miss the added camera in the Fold 8 Ultra. Superb all round device!

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the Fold 6 and thought moving to the Fold 7 was an evolution change, but moving to the Fold 8, wow! The size is perfect, it fits into your hand and looks right. Then you open it up and it transforms, pictures, video and books just fit the this screen ratio. The hinge works better than the Fold 7, opening easier and snaps open. The crease I have forgotten about. I didn't notice it on the Fold 7, but the screen is so much better. I never thought the Fold 7 was a slouch but the 8 seems so much more smoother and responsive. One UI 9 has some great improvements and the integration with the AI makes tasks and work flow so much easier.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having held onto my S23 Ultra for the last 3 years, I was very tempted by the Z Fold 8 Ultra! However, in the end I opted for the Z Fold 8 because the form factor felt different. I am obsessed with how good this phone is to use just with the external screen and use that easily 80% but possibly 90% of the time. The battery is currently lasting me 2 days which is outstanding for such a small form factor. The foldable screen once opened is then truly something special. The phone is brilliantly responsive between screens and feels seamless. The camera is really only average when trying to zoom, but for normal photos of subjects nearby is perfectly acceptable.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Am amazed by this device it is perfect for me, as someone who had the fold a couple of years ago and loved the ideas of a folding phone, i just could not get on with the size of the device struggling to fit it into my pocket so had to move to the flip 7. The the passport size came along, yes a little larger than the flip 7, but omg the size is just perfect, the display is great and bright, battery is night and day to my old flip 7 and the hinge just feels more premium and it fis in my pocket. It's the perfect middle ground and know am going to continue to love this phone.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smaller display of the front screen is a refreshing change in terms of how it fits in my hand when using it with one hand and the responsiveness of app continuity is great when changing between the two screens which is also helped by the snappy feel of the new hinge. I was at first cautious when using the inside larger screen due to older folding screens feeling delicate but the durability has been massively improved. The battery life of the phone is very comparable if not better than my previous phone, the iphone 16 plus which i got the larger size for the battery, so i dont have to be worried about using the new phone for productivity and media streaming all day and still have charge left until i go to sleep.

My Lavander colour tiny piece of tech Fold 8 is a masterpiece indeed 🫠 The "passport phone" stays charged almost 20 hours, fits perfectly in my hands ( girl hands, btw) , and now I have turned it pink all over, from the cover, to the screen 😄 I can't remember since I have written messages with both hands, and I love it . Opened for reading is something else. The hinge is strong and you can't see the middle line on the screen anymore. I am purely in love with it ❤️ 😍 💖

The hinge is super important and I will ensure that it is always protectedlastly the responsiveness is fast the only issue is when the cover is on the buttons are not not readily or easily accessible as the cover is in the way. I opted for the z fold 8 instead of the ultra as I have had always the same ie ultra. The price and size compared is 100 % better choice as I got the z fold 8 512MB

They're uncomfortable and impractical. This is the perfect form factor - so easy to hold, and the large folded out screen is amazing. Most importantly, it's a true joy to use folded as well because the screen is a perfect size. Feels great in the pocket too. So far the hinge has only creased a little so I just hope it's durable over time. If so, it's perfect. Not gone below 50% battery with moderate use on both screens, including games. Samsung, kudos. This is a game changer!

With the ultra the screen is too narrow and i feel i need to open it more than i should. The crease is barely visible at the moment which is great. Not sure how this will be over time. Battery life is good last me the day. The hinge is very keen not sure im confortable with the forceful opening. Its alot lighter than my previous phone so durability is yet to be determined. But with this being so light im worried for how it would stand up to being dropped. With the 1tb 16gb it feel rapid when it comes to responsiveness.

The size of the phone i thought maybe too wide, but I was mistaken it fits great in my pockets and feels good in the hand. The battery seems great too as I've had this since Monday (now Thursday night) and have been constantly using it and setting it all up etc. I have only charged it twice. It feels very well made, responsive and only time will tell if it's durability will be enough. But so far 5 Stars from me 😍

I can now read attachments straight from email in full view and be more efficient with my time. The hinge seems very strong and does not impare any viewing on the main screen. However the fold 8 is a fantastic addition to the line up, it fits so much more nicely into a pocket, and I don't feel I need to open it to take photos. The battery life so far is is tremendous, I get 2 days from a full charge. The display is crisp, bright, and the screen is as responsive as ever for a samsung device. All in all a great purchase. I even bought a second one for my wife, and recommended a colleague get one. Who subsequently has moving from iPhone in the process.

It is beautiful and everyone that sees it is immediately amazed by its thin size, light weight, passport size but that opens into a beautiful tablet. The fold crease is seamless and is a very elegant phone. The battery seems to last forever, and the new ai and smart features are the cherry on top of the cake. I did not have a fold before as I thought they were too bulky but this one is smaller than my previous galaxy24+. I'm really happy with it and would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their phone.

With the fold it’s easy to see everything clearly and thus don’t always need my glasses to see what I’m doing. So far the battery life is showing to be good and as I use my phone constantly that’s a bonus. Hope this phone lasts me as long as my last one, which I had for five years! Loved it so much I didn’t want a new one, but it was time and so far this one is much better. Still I have much to learn about all the capabilities of my new phone. Being of the older generation I will take my time.

I love how it looks, I love how it feels and the whole experience of using it is a joy. For the first time ever I can use the front screen. I have arthritis so my fingers have always been too cumbersome to use the narrow front screen, this one is a completely different experience. The phone is just a pleasure, everything is just so smooth, i find myself looking for excuses to use it. I cant think of one negative thing to say. If you're thinking of getting it, do it, you won't regret it.

Battery life is so good easily a day sometimes even two, Screen quality is perfect, hinge feels great, I could go on and on and on

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Blown away by the Z Fold8 , great form factor and size, the inner display is absolutely beautiful and in a small way feels it quite large, its the first foldable im really happy with, it's built for durability and just feels solid, with a solid hinge and yet easier to handle than previous versions. The battery holds up well considering I've been on it all the time and it is yet to improve still. I would love to see Samsung Dex running natively on the inner display, it would be a total game changer, I also feel this form factor deserves the reintroduction of the sPen on the foldables, the cover screen is perfect for scribbling notes and the inner display for the inner artist. Furthermore, im very happy with my decision on the Fold8, I shall not look back...

The display is stunning, both inside and out, and the larger screen is fantastic for multitasking, reading documents and watching videos. Performance is incredibly responsive, with apps opening instantly and everything feeling smooth. The hinge feels solid and well engineered, giving confidence when opening and closing the phone. Battery life has comfortably lasted me through a full day of normal use. Samsung has also refined the software experience, making great use of the foldable screen with useful multitasking features. Overall, this feels like the most polished Fold yet. It's expensive, but if you're looking for the best foldable experience available, it's easy to recommend.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it's without doubt the greatest phone I've ever had, the dimensions of the new shape make it extremely small and pocketable, it becomes a mini tablet and it's the proportions. I've always had fold phones but they never quite worked perfectly. I've still like them however, due to being great multitaskers but this is on a different level when it comes to productivity and how you use the phone whether vertically or in landscape and it is just an absolutely fantastic device, super light, a good battery, it's a brilliant all-rounder and I play a lot of SimCity so from that perspective it's perfect. I've also linked my gaming backbone controller which isn't the perfect fit as you need to open the screen slightly to allow it which is a bit of a shame. However, it's still a fantastic device and a brilliant all-rounder. I think next year Samsung shoulo consider making this a premium device or at least equal to the Ultra, it needs to sort the cameras out. I know this was the test case but you've now quickly learned that this is the popular one so fix the cameras and you are winning.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've upgraded from the S24 Ultra and despite some initial reservations about the durability and form factor, I've been proven wrong and couldn't be happier with the device. This form factor feels like the way forward. Amazing display. I had some reservations about the 4:3 aspect ratio but every app I've used so far displays perfectly, and is fully responsive. Apps such as Strava definitely look better when the device is unfolded and in portrait orientation. Overall, the shorter form factor makes the decice way more portable. I would caveat this with I do prefer the font on my device quite small, I think if you prefer larger font sizes you may lose some screen real estate. Typing on the keyboard is also very comfortable. I've found I actually use the device closed more than I do unfolded. When I do unfold the device; it's fantastic for media consumption; YouTube, gaming, reading all 10/10 and I'm also pleased with the battery life, the fast charging tops up the battery quickly, this was another of my main worries moving from the S24 Ultra. When folding and unfolding the hinge and durability overall is surprisingly strong, to the point where the device also works with external wrap around controllers, such as the GameSir X-5 making this device a real powerhouse for game streaming.

I'm finding I'm not having to open it as much as my previous z fold 3 as the front screen is a decent size. Others have commented how much sharper the video calls are, really enjoying this phone 4 days in so far, have charged it a couple of times. The crease is not visible, the phone is thinner and much lighter than my previous phone, the hinge feels tighter, the phone feels durable - time will tell.

The format just works and feels perfect in your hand. Once you open up to the main screen something you don't notice, if you're looking for it, is the crease. The technology used to reduce the visibility and feel of the crease is a huge step forward, as is the anti reflective coating and brightness of the screen. Despite all that I keep switching back to the front screen and just smiling at it's perfection!

The battery life lasts me a full day with around 40% still left whereas the s25 needed charging Round teatime to get me through the day.. the display is amazing on both the outer and inner screens. The hinge is smooth and the screens are responsive. I have put a case on to ad extra durability.

Battery life excellent, new screen and ratio excellent 2 things not liked, one speakers on one side of device so no stereo audio and 2 usb type c connecter on bottom of phone so still on bottom when opened makes it a nightmare for stand everything else top notch

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it's brilliant, I like smaller screens but got used to bigger screens so this is a great compromise, I get a smaller main screen then I have the option of a bigger screen, perfect, the battery is an improvement, really great purchase, I wanted to wait until the technology became advanced enough and I felt now is a good time

                Been loving my Galaxy Flip since the first edition and upgrading it every year. Didn't expect to say this but after experiencing the Fold8 hands-on, it seems it's time to switch it up. Much slimmer and lighter than I expected, sitting super well in one hand. The real magic was unfolding it (unexpectedly I do appreciate that extra screen space) which made my little scroll through my favourite dog content so much better. Always loved how the Flex Mode on my Flip made every selfie session with my niece and dog so much more fun (and stable) by using the main camera and outside screen and now with the Fold8 camera... chef's kiss :)

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love everything about it from the battery to the hinge improvement from my previous fold 7. The crease is looking better but time will tell. Reason why it wasn't a 5/5 because of the Camera downgrade from my previous fold 7. If the camera is improved for next year's upgrade, I'll definitely look into that.

It's great for watching shows, I can't see or feel the crease the hinge feels pretty durable so I've not really got any concerns long term. It's super responsive and thus far the battery has been surprisingly good.

The 2 screens when opened are amazing for movies and gaming , the hinge is good Durabilty wise is excellent, responsiveness wise when you only use 1 screen and open ot to 2 screens is instant you don't miss anything and the Battery is long lasting.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the new aspect ratio, possibly the best phone for content consuming especially when pairing with the Buds 4 Pro. Great battery life too easily last the whole day with heavy usage. Fingerprint reader is as quick as it can be. Anti reflective screen protector however should be there straight from the box.

The responsiveness changing from app to app and multitasking is lightning fast, this is a must buy.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have upgraded from a zflip7 because I wanted a bigger screen. It was definitely worth it! I am a knitter so being able to see my patterns clearly I needed the ability to adjust the size of the font. The display is amazing, and by pinching outwards, with two fingers, I can get to the desired size.The phone is responding quickly to tasks. The hinge feels safe and secure. I don't have any worries about durability due to having the zflip previously. I can honestly say that I do not notice the crease at all, and I watch alot of videos on my phone. I also love the fact that the front screen is user friendly too, if you don't want to unfold. Overall I am really impressed with my new phone. By the way I am 57 years old, and if I can use it anyone can. I would highly recommend, especially if you are into social media, as the shape of the screen, when opened out is perfect! Battery life appears to be good, although I have only had my phone a few days. Charges very quickly.
