The battery life is incredible, leaving me with almost 40% battery at the end of the day after regular use throughout the day. The inside screen is great and the crease is totally unnoticeable when the screen is on. The hinge allows the phone to lie totally flat when open (though the camera bump prevents it from being at on a table entirely flat). The responsiveness is great too, especially when switching from the font screen to the second bigger screen inside. I am content in is durability too. The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

This phone is very thing and much lighter than my S24 Ultra. It opens a whole new way of using a phone. Unfolded you can multitask with more apps open and with some apps expanding further. I can't praise this phone enough and there's no way I could go back to a slab phone. The outer display isn't quite as wide and the hight of my S24 Ultra but it's not much. I expect this will eventually change in future models My life cycle with phones is 2 year it'll be Fold 10 for me.

The crease is not really noticeable at all when in use ans only visable really from a side view. The hinge feels solid and well made, it does not feel like it will break at any point. The Z Fold8 Ultra responds just as quick as any other flagship Galaxy phone. The main camera is also just as good as the standard Galaxy Ultra range. Bring a bigger battery ensures that the phone stands up against time and lasts just as long as a conventional phone under normal use and if you are streaming or gaming consistently you also get enough battery you would expect. I think increasing the wireless charging to be as fast as the standard Galaxy range would of been ideal but it still charges quick enough. Wired charging again is fast.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra honestly feels like the first foldable where Samsung finally stopped making compromises. Unfolding it is a total treat the inner crease is practically invisible now, and both screens get so ridiculously bright that you can actually use it outside in bright sunlight without squinting. It's surprisingly thin and comfortable to hold, but what really blew me away was the battery life; it actually lasts through a full, heavy day without me needing to hunt for a charger. Throw in a super snappy processor and a 200MP camera that takes incredible shots, and it easily earns its spot as the best phone I've ever used for multitasking and gaming.

Battery life is the biggest change: my Fold 5 would barely make it through a full day, and I was always hunting for a charger by evening. The Fold 8 Ultra actually holds up. The hinge is noticeably smoother, and the main screen crease is much better than the Fold 5's, still visible if you're looking for it, but a real improvement. Responsiveness is a smaller difference, but it's there; everything just feels a touch snappier day to day. The thing I like most, though, is the wider cover screen. On the Fold 5, typing out a quick WhatsApp reply on the outside screen felt cramped, so I'd end up unfolding the phone way more than I should've just to reply to something simple. The Fold 8 Ultra's wider cover screen makes typing and quick replies feel natural without opening it, a small change that makes a real difference day to day. I've only had the 8 Ultra a week, so I can't speak to long-term durability first-hand yet. But I had my Fold 5 since launch with zero issues, so if the 8 Ultra holds up anywhere near as well, I'll be more than happy.

I hope that not long will samsung improve it but I really like these phones so I bought it soft and the software at the highest level as to the quality of the screen is good but it could have been better. I also have a samsung s 26 ultra and I have the impression that the screen there is a little better so not exactly samsung tried Ala despite the weak minuses samsung zfold 8 ultra is a great phone and good refined and I am very pleased with it, there is a big improvement in terms of the previous generation and this is very cool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a Samsung phone user for over 15 years now, the Note series having previously been by far my favourite incarnation. The S Pen was a game changer - totally unique. After the Note 10, I held out for a few years before grudgingly moving on to the S Ultra series, although I have to admit that the S24 Ultra I just traded in ran the Note 10 close for my favourite phone so far. Although always curious about the Fold series, the cost and early versions never really convinced me to move away from the conventional phones that I'd been happy with to that point, but a combination of a generous trade in, pre-order discount incentives and the want to just break out of the phone mould, made me pull the trigger on the Z Fold8 Ultra. I've only had the Fold for 2 days, but I already love it. It's the breakout phone technology that I've been looking for that makes mobiles exciting again. I miss the slightly larger 'front' screen of the S24 Ultra, and losing the muscle memory of popping out the S Pen will take a while, but both of those fade when you open the fold. It really is stunning. It'll take me months to fully realise and appreciate the capabilities of the Z Fold8 Ultra, but it reminds me of what made the Note series so exciting back then, and I'm fully on board for the journey. Hats off Samsung - you reigned in my loyalty just as my eyes were beginning to wander 😉

The display is incredibly bright and looks amazing, even under strong lighting. One of the first things I noticed was how easy it is to see everything clearly. The horizontal lock and Fan Cam features were the most convincing reasons for me. Since I'm into social media and vlogging, those features feel genuinely useful and make creating content much easier. I also like the bigger battery and the faster charging speeds. They're practical upgrades that make the phone even more appealing. Another thing that really stood out is the crease. It's now barely visible, making the main display feel much more seamless and premium. Overall, the Fold8 feels like a really polished upgrade.

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
