[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Galaxy watch ultra 2 , love the upgrades, the ultra one was a good smart watch was a bit to shiny, blingy and bulky for a true sports watch that's actually worn during activities, ex hiking , mountain biking , trail running etc , the ultra 2 toned down the bling , looks more like a rugged outdoor watch, is noticably thinner , lighter and much more comfortable with the better designed straps . Subtle changes to the buttons are noticeable, better protection from accidental touch while wearing gloves or using hiking poles and have a premium feel when using. Only wish for future is to add emergency sattilite connection

Even though it is still estimating usage patterns, it seems like a full charge is going to last around 2 days with most features on (minus always on display). Display is bright and clear, no noticeable pixel issues and love the subtlties like moving reflections on the watch face as you move your wrist helping with emersion. Feels durable and high quality so not worried about wear but I wish they included a rotating bezel or crown at the very least with more customisation of the action buttons (this can easily be done with software updates)

My new Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 has a ton of additional health tracking features that are very important to my active lifestyle. On the other hand, rest is just as important to me, so I appreciate the additional tracking for my sleep habits. I will continue using Samsung products, but I do have one small request. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is a titanium masterpiece that is held on my wrist by a basic feeling watch band. It would be nice if the was a Samsung branded titanium watch band option at checkout. Still, it's 10 out of 10

I just thought it was about time I went up to the next level and invested in a Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. It completed my set, Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro. Samsung products are just the best for me, my main two TV's in the house are Samsung also. My next purchase will be a couple of smaller Samsung TV's for bedrooms. I'm getting on so well with the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, not a single regret yet for upgrading, highly recommend it. The display and ergonomics are really impressive.

How could they make it better, I asked myself.... Well, I am already so glad that I made this upgrade. Yes, new features, an incredible upgrade to Samsung Health features, and many more things too numerous to list here to include, obviously, the increased battery capacity combined with a brand new Qualcomm processor. I had made sure that I was using the daily backup of the watch on my S25 Ultra and the transfer to the Ultra2 was the easiest yet! Congrats, Samsung! I have owned every watch since the first edition. I am so happy and still discovering new and improved functions! Thanks so much!

I held off until this release due to the increase battery life as I was looking for a watch that could keep up with my long days. My intial impressions are that this is a very well built watch and feels like it can take a beating. Haven't tried it yet on my runs and exercise routines but am excited to what this baby can do. Will try to update this as I get some mileage with this unit. The interface is very user friendly and learning was a breeze. Coming from my ancient Gear 2 learning this severely upgraded version was easy. A very good decision for sure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very much enjoying my new watch, even just coming from the original ultra this is a nice upgrade. Battery life seems to be holding up well and probably getting around 3-4 days so far, so a nice improvement from around 2 days on the original ultra. Even though the display hasn't changed hugely in size, it appears bigger due to the small bezel. The watch has subtle changes to the design on the outside but I'm still very happy with it. On the inside there are multiple changes including bigger battery, brighter screen and faster processor. On the whole very much like the new ultra2 and would recommend anyone with even the original ultra to upgrade or anyone thinking of moving to the ultra watch series to give it a try.

Recently the battery was draining too fast and the watch slowed down so I decided to get a new one and why not the best one coming out. I got the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 today and have been absolutely loving it. The battery is long, the watch reacts very quickly, and with the new updates to Wear OS, a lot of features and improvements have been added. The only things I would say is that I wish there were a first party anti glare screen protector and case that Samsung would sell. I know this smartwatch does not need it, but I would like it just for comfortability.

Might have been nice to have some kind of stand to rest it on while it's charging or some other non paid options for the straps as i had to buy an extra one. Loving the stay active app, even when at work and it's reminding me to move or giving me options for stretches! The battery so far seems to be holding out 2-3 days but I'm in the stage of turning everything on full because of the excitement. Display is fantastic, very sharp, miles better than my last watch. I cant speak on the accuracy or durability but I hope they do well.

It does everything I want it to do and does it brilliantly. The battery life is excellent, which means I'm not constantly worrying about charging it. In fact, the only thing I don't like is having to take it off to charge it! I wear it all the time because it's comfortable, looks great, and has become part of my daily routine. I've heard great things about the first ultra so I really wanted an upgrade from the standard galaxy watch 7 and opted for the ultra watch 2 this time around. So far so good! I will be adding the phone line to this one as well as all my previous watches were just bluetooth. This watch has great features and pairs well with the wearable app and the new galaxy buds 4 pro I ordered as well. Ik excited for the samsung glasses as well as I currently have the rayban meta, however as good as they are I wana be able to consolidate all to the samsung environment.

Everything from my Ultra 1 transferred over seamlessly and extremely quickly to my Ultra 2. My phone plan, all my music, yes I still use mp3s for when I get to remote locations, my Google wallet, my apps, everything transferred perfectly, super greatful Samsung has nearly perfected the new device setup process. Being able to use the Ultra and now Ultra 2 as a stand alone device is a big deal to me, if my phone runs out of battery or I just dont want to take it with me its so nice to be able to do so much directly on my watch. Slimmer, bigger battery, brighter screen, excited to enjoy all the new improvements of the Ultra 2. Now if only Samsung would bring the SPen back to the Zfold the Galaxy family could be complete.

My Galaxy Watch Ultra 1 lasted about 1 1/2 days to 2 days my Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 lasts 3 days. So the battery has significantly improved. Outside the screen is a lot brighter and easier to view in sunlight. Still has the same rugged design and durability hasn't been tested although I have the utmost confidence that it will hold up with anything.

I've had the watch a few days now, and I'm really impressed with it so far. The accuracy of tracking steps is much better than just having your phone in your pocket. The feel on the wrist is really comfortable despite it being a larger watch, which was a concern before buying. The battery life seems really good; it'll tell you by clicking on the battery icon on the face how much longer it has left, and so far, it's about 3–4 days, as I've only charged it once. The display is really good, and the ability to change the face on the wearable app means you can have it showing as little or as much as you want. I'd definitely recommend it to anybody considering purchasing.

The setup was quick and easy, transfered all my settings from my old watch, and i can add a mobile data plan easy on it later if i want to. The wristband is nice i got the travel one. The display is clearer and a higher resolution and so far after 3 hours only lost 3% of the battery with a live wallpaper and always on display active, but i havent tested out many features yet or streamed music from it. So far the watch is comfy and faster responding than my old watch looking forward to using daily.

The watch lasts an extra day and a half with aod on. It gets me 2 -3 days with aod off. I always use aod. I chose the ultra 2 because I like the button reconfiguration better. While the generation-over-generation updates are subtle on paper, they make a genuine, noticeable difference in everyday use. First, the comfort is outstanding. Despite its rugged, premium presence, it wears surprisingly well on the wrist for long workouts, all-day wear, and sleep tracking without causing fatigue. The display is absolutely gorgeous—vibrant, razor-sharp, and effortless to read even under direct midday sunlight. Performance-wise, everything feels fast and responsive. Swiping through tiles, switching between apps, and initiating workouts happen instantaneously with zero lag. The new health features are a very welcome addition. The upgraded tracking capabilities offer deeper, more actionable insights that refine daily wellness and fitness monitoring in a meaningful way. If you already own the original Ultra, the updates might seem incremental, but the cumulative impact makes it feel like a fully polished, complete experience. It is easily worth the upgrade.

And the wrist strap it comes with is super nice. I am impressed with the updated UI it has too. Fixed a few quirks I had issues with on the prior model. All in all. Much more comfortable to wear and less bulk makes it look better to the eye too.

I chose to upgrade from my Galaxy Watch Ultra (2024) to the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and I have to say, I'm very impressed.
