[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a loyal z flip girly since the first generation and I have throughly felt like every new flip came with updates that were absolutely worth the upgrade year after year. The 8 does have decent updates; however, these updates are more so for convenience rather than needs for increased usability. For me personally, I could've gone without the upgrade to the 8. I only upgraded due to the rumors of this being the last flip so I wanted to make sure I had the latest version if this were to be true. I think if you enjoy the flip 7 and don't need or can't afford the upgrade, then you're good and aren't missing out on much.

Samsung never fails to improve their versions from the last and it shows. From the screen technology, to it's ever growing capabilities as a pocket-sized bestie, I chose the ZFlip because it's an innovative and creative addition to my tech life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to go back to a Samsung flip phone after trading in my Flip 5 for an S25 Ultra. I loved my Ultra but I love the flip so much more. It's cute, it's compact, and I can open and shut it. I also prefer the keyboard and the size of the phone since it is easier for me to type and handle. I almost got the Flip 7 for the gorgeous cobalt blue color (GBA SP nostalgia), but then we I found out they were releasing a pink Flip 8 I had to wait. The color is absolutely stunning and I am beyond happy with it. I also think the screen on this phone is a noticeable improvement from my Ultra 25. All in all I am incredibly happy with my purchase and I am going to stick with the Z line in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My main reason for getting a new phone was because my old was losing charge all the time and having to be charged 3 or 4 times a day. With my z fold 8 the battery last all day on one charge. Also the display is so much better its bright when I need it to be and dim when I need it to be but not just the brightness you can't even see the crease from the hinge when its unfolded. Also for how thing the device is you can feel the durability of it in your hands when its unfolded it doesn't feel like it's going to snap.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to the Flip8 from the Flip3 and I must say, the experience is worth it. The 8 is lighter, wider, crisper and has a much more seamless folding bezel with a satisfying, audible and soft close. Aside from the obvious benefits to upgrading from an older generation (battery life, bigger and better quality display), the flip8 feels like a more thought-out, premium device, as the hardware no longer has the tempered glass that made the flip3 feel slippery and fragile, and has a vastly improved IP rating of IP48, where the 3's IPX8 rating meant the screen is now lost to peeling from the protective film and scratches. The fold crease is also much more subtle. Overall, I'm very happy with my choice, and look forward to properly saying goodbye to the 3 once retailers start selling Flip8 cases and the screen protector comes back in stock!

The ultra-thin profile makes a huge difference—it slips into pockets effortlessly without that bulky feel in hand or in pocket. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad Samsung released a pink color for the Z Flip8. My mom has been using the Z Flip7 and I loved using it so much, I had to get my own. The customizations seem endless, and I can really tailor my phone to match my personality. The camera is also good, as I record videos and take pictures often. I love the extra display on the front, especially when others are taking photos of me; I can see what I look like in the photo and adjust if needed. This phone has been a hit with my group of girl friends. I chose the Flip8 because I thought the features, size, and functionality fit my needs.

The battery holds a charge all day, the crease is almost gone, which didn't bother me anyway. But its size is still the most important thing for me, if you need to consume data on a larger device, then buy a tablet, phones should fit in your pocket.

I chose this device because I really like the small form factor and it fits in pockets a while lot better than the S23 Ultra this is replacing. I am a little disappointed that 512Gb was the maximum storage available. The hinge on this phone already feels quite a bit different than the Flip 3 5G that I had right before my S23 Ultra, so I have high hopes this will last longer than it did. So far, it's great and no problems to report.

It has a bigger screen than my previous model. It's smooth and offers plenty more features. My favorite is the ability to flip it shut for easier pocketing.

I am personally not excited when new phones come out, because usually theres no improvement. The Flip 8, has sooo many improvements and evolution compared to the Flip 5. A smooth matte finish back decreases slipping. Protective buildt in covers on the fold mechanism, for those accidents. As a flip user the fold of the phone is usually where it is weak. Samsung has improved their design not only on the edges but the screens too. The flip screen is smooth and flawless and no fidgeting bump that was noticeable on the flip 5. The back screen is bigger and has easier functionality. The phone it self doesn't heat up when in the half fold position, which drained the battery on the old phones. The cameras almost the same as the old ones, but the zoom is MUCH better. A clear picture instead of pixels. I choose this device for the capabilities and awesome flawness. It is still the coolest phone on the market!

The flip 8 is thinner , lighter and has more options on the cover screen than the flip 7. I find that the crease is even less noticiable and the hinge seems nice and tight. The display is crisp and i love the AI wallpaper options as i can just describe the pic i want and it appears! I am sure i will find more things i love about this phone. The main reason i love a samsung flip phone is because you can easily slip it in a pocket or a small handbag. I have only had it for two days so cant really say much about the durability of this particular model but having had 3 previous models i can say that i usually upgrade after 2 years( though i only had the flip 7 for a year ) my phones are always still in great condition and working perfectly well after 2 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 based on form factor. I hate how big phones are getting and this fits perfectly in your pocket. The cover screen allows me to do so much without having to open the phone, but when I do open the phone, I now have a nice big screen to work on. That makes the Z Flip 8 the perfect device for me. I love to show off how much fun it is taking group selfies because we can all see ourselves on the cover screen and I also like to use the split screen, especially when watching sports because I can check stats at the same time. This phone is my daily driver and it has plenty of power for me to do what I need for work. I'm not a big gamer so I can't comment on that. Video and productivity apps work fine for me. I have had other Samsung flips and hope they continue with this lineup.

The Galaxy Z Flip 8 is a real upgrade for me. 6.9 screen compared to 6.7, larger exterior screen that is actually usable, 50 mega pixel camera compared to 12, thinner, lighter, more battery life, and the crease is less noticeable, but that was never an issue for me.

I have always loved the idea of being able to put the phone in my pocket without it being overwhelming. I use the phone for both work and personal use, and absolutely love it. Most everyone I know, including my family are on iPhones, but I am never switching and will likely never have another phone that doesn't flip like this phone does. Luckily RCS fixed a lot of the issues with sending pictures back and forth. I have been disappointed with the durability of the screen where it folds. Seems like every really hot summer, it starts to separate just about the time the 1 year warranty expires, so I am hopeful the z flip 8 corrects this. This will never be enough for an issue for me to ever switch. I'm very happy with it so far, and pleased that Samsung continues to offer nice trade-in deals for well kept older model phones. Overall would recommend anyone try this phone, you won't be disappointed.

Love the new hinge as well shuts with a satisfying snap and the crease in the middle is noticeably less visible than the 6 (and I barely noticed it in real word use) all in all a very worth while upgrade.
