The responsiveness of the phone is impeccable and is extremely smooth, the new silicon carbon battery allows for your flagship battery life whilst making the phone slimmer, which shows in the crease now taking a huge visual decrease seen in other fold phones and also the hinge being smooth and durable to allow easy opening. The battery life is incredible, leaving me with almost 40% battery at the end of the day after regular use throughout the day. The inside screen is great and the crease is totally unnoticeable when the screen is on. The hinge allows the phone to lie totally flat when open (though the camera bump prevents it from being at on a table entirely flat). The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. This phone is very thing and much lighter than my S24 Ultra. It opens a whole new way of using a phone. Unfolded you can multitask with more apps open and with some apps expanding further. I can't praise this phone enough and there's no way I could go back to a slab phone. The outer display isn't quite as wide and the hight of my S24 Ultra but it's not much. I expect this will eventually change in future models My life cycle with phones is 2 year it'll be Fold 10 for me.

This phone has allowed me to multi cast and 2 both at the same time. 80% or more of the day is me being on my phone for work when I'm away from the desk. The battery last all day and the quality and brightness of the screen allows for me to do everything I can do on a computer to now do it on the phone. Outside of work I play racing games and gotcha games with the large screen size and the response time are on par with playing on a pc. This phone allows for me to control my house ecosystem.

I just can't understand why the camera sticking out the way it does continues year after year. I understand that it has to stick out, but why not make it so that when you set the device down in doesn't wobble? Other than the wobble causing camera bulge, I love it.

You can hardly see the crease in the screen, picture quality is amazing. When I received my device I was genuinely surprised and impressed by its larger main display and larger inner display. When I put my older Z Fold 3 next to it I noticed the device was larger in ways that were not flattering and smaller in ways that limited productivity. The slightly, but noticeably, larger screen is really what surprised me the most. I was already expecting better overall performance as I skipped upgrading over the 6 and 7. But, as I keep mentioning, the larger display really does mimic a slab from my note 10+ days something I had come to miss but wouldn't trade off the massive innerscreen as I use this device as my main device for browsing websites. Where the sometimes smaller is better comes in is when you compare the two devices in thickness. Now, I didn't really mind the thickness of the Fold 5 as it was very similar if not identical to my Fold 3. However, the new device is much slimmer which I would say oddly adds a premium feel to my Fold 8 Ultra. The screens on the Fold 8 Ultra are very bright which is clear when I compare them to my old devices. The PPI also seems to be more dense even though I haven't looked at the specs to see if I'm just imagining this. Great quality all around. Ultimately I would recommend the upgrade if you're coming from a 5 to an 8. I cannot tell you to do so if you have a 6 or 7 because I have no experience with those devices.

The inner display is incredibly bright, sharp, and vibrant, and the cooler color tone makes everything look especially clean. Even at lower brightness levels, it can still look brighter than my Fold 7 at full brightness, which is a major improvement for everyday use. The crease is not really noticeable at all when in use ans only visable really from a side view. The hinge feels solid and well made, it does not feel like it will break at any point. The Z Fold8 Ultra responds just as quick as any other flagship Galaxy phone. The main camera is also just as good as the standard Galaxy Ultra range. Bring a bigger battery ensures that the phone stands up against time and lasts just as long as a conventional phone under normal use and if you are streaming or gaming consistently you also get enough battery you would expect. I think increasing the wireless charging to be as fast as the standard Galaxy range would of been ideal but it still charges quick enough. Wired charging again is fast.

I also find texting and typing easier on the wide screen as I have large fingers so having the option for a wider display is so helpful for me. My only gripe is all the AI that is packed into everything nowadays. Some stuff is useful like detecting unwanted content but the AI in the camera takes away from the magic of a photo and I wish they would give the option to toggle it on and off. I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
