Galaxy Z Flip8

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Battery life on this phone is fantastic so far even with full use lats day and a half the crease is non existent on the fold and is smoth operating the hinge that gives it a thin profile. The response of the phone is quick and doesn't have any delay. I have yet to test durability fully but have tried smaller things like riding a motorbike with it has held no problems so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade my Z Flip 5 to the new Z Flip 8 as I was curious about upgrades. The camera is comparison is sharper with more features and the screen is also larger. It is (as advertised) quite thin and there is very little crease that is not noticeable when looking at the screen. Everything transitioned extremely smoothly from phone to phone and the mint color is very nice. The cover screen is fully functional now. My only complaint is that the hinge is much tighter than the Z Flip 5, and seems to "spring" open once the angle is great enough. This paired with the thin phone makes it a bit cumbersome to open as I feel like it could slip out of my hands, and I am hesitant to open it with only one hand. Other than this, I am quite satisfied.

I absolutely love this phone, it's a real game changer, I love the split screen capability, also the battery lasts all day, the phone looks smart and watching movies are played with amazing quality picture. The sound is also exceptional. This phone has actually changed my life, It's so easy to navigate and made life a lot easier as you can multitask from one big screen and not have to keep closing windows and having to log back in. The phone key pad is actually also very accurate and responsive, Thank you Samsung for making such a smart device. The crease on the fold is very strong and has great durability,the phone also has a strong hinge Anybody that buys this phone won't be disappointed. The iPhone loyalists don't know what they are missing and can't believe they think they have the best phone money can buy. They need to stop following people like sheep and wake up to better things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came from the Fold7. I wasn't sure if the upgrade would be worth it, but despite how incremental it is, it makes for a far more complete device! The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that the phone folds to fit in my pocket but that seems to be the best thing about it. The cover screen, I would have thought, would be more like a second screen that I can set up any way like, but it seems that we are limited to putting widgets on each page, and they are limited to the 2x2 and 2x4 size, rather than being able to have a full size widget. When I get a notification on the cover screen and tap to reply I get told to open the phone, why can't I just reply direct from the cover screen like I could on my flip5. The whole point of the bigger cover screen was that you can use that instead of opening phone all the time but seems like that thought went out the window. The tips app is also a little useless as it tells you what you can do but not how to do it and the settings in the phones now days are not simple and straight forward to just follow the promts as such.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first fold phone and I love it. I've been with Samsung since the very first Galaxy phone. This phone is very thing and much lighter than my S24 Ultra. It opens a whole new way of using a phone. Unfolded you can multitask with more apps open and with some apps expanding further. I can't praise this phone enough and there's no way I could go back to a slab phone. The outer display isn't quite as wide and the hight of my S24 Ultra but it's not much. I expect this will eventually change in future models My life cycle with phones is 2 year it'll be Fold 10 for me.

I find it so easy to work with as a student I also find the speaker quality really well placed. I do have a few suggestions for the ultra designers and maybe a innovative ideas suited to better position of electrical components within devices after ownership of Z Fold 7 and 8 ultra. And I have trialed the 8, I also have some really good suggestions for the next 9 , 10 etc. If Samsung Galaxy teams would be interested to hear.

Wow, not even sure where to start. All I am gonna say is if you want something practical, simple, yet advanced, LOOK NO FURTHER. The Z Flip 8 is a very nice phone. Amazing display, battery is not so bad whatsoever. No need to worry about the hinges when folding, it folds perfectly. The perfomance is exceptional, better than my S25 Ultra which was my previous phone. Get yourself a case, make it more durable but when getting this phone note that you are gonna need to be extra careful with it, as with any phone. You get used to the folding quickly if this is your first Flip. Might have to get the Z Fold 8 Ultra as well 😆. But yes, durability must be considered. Great for making space in your pocket 😆.

It's snappy, powerful, and incredibly responsive. I'm loving it.

Samsung did it again, great improvement, specially with the hinge as you can not see the fold on the screen at all.👏 That 's beside improvement with performance and AI, also the battery , and the ultra wide rear camera. Great improvement Samsung.

The battery holds a charge all day, the crease is almost gone, which didn't bother me anyway. But its size is still the most important thing for me, if you need to consume data on a larger device, then buy a tablet, phones should fit in your pocket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to the Flip8 from the Flip3 and I must say, the experience is worth it. The 8 is lighter, wider, crisper and has a much more seamless folding bezel with a satisfying, audible and soft close. Aside from the obvious benefits to upgrading from an older generation (battery life, bigger and better quality display), the flip8 feels like a more thought-out, premium device, as the hardware no longer has the tempered glass that made the flip3 feel slippery and fragile, and has a vastly improved IP rating of IP48, where the 3's IPX8 rating meant the screen is now lost to peeling from the protective film and scratches. The fold crease is also much more subtle. Overall, I'm very happy with my choice, and look forward to properly saying goodbye to the 3 once retailers start selling Flip8 cases and the screen protector comes back in stock!

With my z fold 8 the battery last all day on one charge. Also the display is so much better its bright when I need it to be and dim when I need it to be but not just the brightness you can't even see the crease from the hinge when its unfolded. Also for how thing the device is you can feel the durability of it in your hands when its unfolded it doesn't feel like it's going to snap.

You can hardly see the crease in the screen, picture quality is amazing. The camera takes such lovely photos and it's so nice being able to turn to the larger screen when wanting to read a interesting article or watch a video. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a loyal z flip girly since the first generation and I have throughly felt like every new flip came with updates that were absolutely worth the upgrade year after year. The 8 does have decent updates; however, these updates are more so for convenience rather than needs for increased usability. For me personally, I could've gone without the upgrade to the 8. I only upgraded due to the rumors of this being the last flip so I wanted to make sure I had the latest version if this were to be true. I think if you enjoy the flip 7 and don't need or can't afford the upgrade, then you're good and aren't missing out on much.

The phone is a lot thinner and less bulky than previous models making it absolutely perfect. The upgraded cameras are a huge bonus and makes it worth every penny. The screen and sound quailty is phenomenal and watching films or playing games is amazing. I wish it had a stylus but that doesn't take away from how great this phone is. Love the violet colour as well.

I was gobsmacked when I actually received it. Plenty of discount on launch day and great trade in value (plus some Bud 4 pros thrown in for free- big upgrade to my Bud 3 pro). So the Fold. Well it's just awesome. I love the form factor and find it so great to use. Especially reading websites or email. Also watching YouTube. So glad I went Fold. Super responsive and light.

It's cute, it's compact, and I can open and shut it. I also prefer the keyboard and the size of the phone since it is easier for me to type and handle. I almost got the Flip 7 for the gorgeous cobalt blue color (GBA SP nostalgia), but then we I found out they were releasing a pink Flip 8 I had to wait. The color is absolutely stunning and I am beyond happy with it. I also think the screen on this phone is a noticeable improvement from my Ultra 25. All in all I am incredibly happy with my purchase and I am going to stick with the Z line in the future!

Battery is great and the screen is seamless, no crease hardly at all. I do wish there was a better camera on this model but it's still pretty good and takes nice photos. I've had the flip 6 aswell and with both of these phones ive never had an issue with the hinge or responsiveness. The durability is pretty good as I've dropped it a few times and it's never stopped working on me.

I chose this device because I really like the small form factor and it fits in pockets a while lot better than the S23 Ultra this is replacing. I am a little disappointed that 512Gb was the maximum storage available. The hinge on this phone already feels quite a bit different than the Flip 3 5G that I had right before my S23 Ultra, so I have high hopes this will last longer than it did. So far, it's great and no problems to report.

I am personally not excited when new phones come out, because usually theres no improvement. The Flip 8, has sooo many improvements and evolution compared to the Flip 5. A smooth matte finish back decreases slipping. Protective buildt in covers on the fold mechanism, for those accidents. As a flip user the fold of the phone is usually where it is weak. Samsung has improved their design not only on the edges but the screens too. The flip screen is smooth and flawless and no fidgeting bump that was noticeable on the flip 5. The back screen is bigger and has easier functionality. The phone it self doesn't heat up when in the half fold position, which drained the battery on the old phones. The cameras almost the same as the old ones, but the zoom is MUCH better. A clear picture instead of pixels. I choose this device for the capabilities and awesome flawness. It is still the coolest phone on the market!

The phone feels more solid physically and internally capable of heavy tasks for longer with the increased battery life & the display is more clearer and brighter!

Noticably less of a crease than on the 6 .Flex window now more usable than before with more apps that can be used on it. Which should mean less opening to full size to check notices therefore improving the durability of the hinge. Have so far found both main & flex screens give a real feeling of responsiveness. Have added flex window protector & a case to keep my flip 8 safely.

The chip is rapid, multi-tasking is a breeze, the display is amazing and the battery is decent. People mention the visable 'crease' but it genuinely doesn't affect the display. It feels durable and i am not worried about the hinge like I thought I would be. The only thing I have noticed is a lack of me using the front screen!

The flip 8 is thinner , lighter and has more options on the cover screen than the flip 7. I find that the crease is even less noticiable and the hinge seems nice and tight. The display is crisp and i love the AI wallpaper options as i can just describe the pic i want and it appears! I am sure i will find more things i love about this phone. The main reason i love a samsung flip phone is because you can easily slip it in a pocket or a small handbag. I have only had it for two days so cant really say much about the durability of this particular model but having had 3 previous models i can say that i usually upgrade after 2 years( though i only had the flip 7 for a year ) my phones are always still in great condition and working perfectly well after 2 years.

The flip 8 is a significant improvement in terms of speed, build quality and of course folds and fits nicely in my pocket. Very impressed so far. If you want a small folding mobile, buy this!
