                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had multiple foldables from Honor over the last few years and this year I traded in my Honor Magic V5 for the Z Fold 8. And I am so glad I did. The form factor is far better, it's lighter, the display is epic, the crease is nearly non-existent, the battery is superb and holding the device in the hand is great. It's easily pocketable and is very snappy to use, very responsive and so far, I cannot say enough great things about it. I had questions about the camera but for standard photography, I really can't complain. I don't use a zoom lens so I don't miss the added camera in the Fold 8 Ultra. Superb all round device!

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having held onto my S23 Ultra for the last 3 years, I was very tempted by the Z Fold 8 Ultra! However, in the end I opted for the Z Fold 8 because the form factor felt different. I am obsessed with how good this phone is to use just with the external screen and use that easily 80% but possibly 90% of the time. The battery is currently lasting me 2 days which is outstanding for such a small form factor. The foldable screen once opened is then truly something special. The phone is brilliantly responsive between screens and feels seamless. The camera is really only average when trying to zoom, but for normal photos of subjects nearby is perfectly acceptable.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Am amazed by this device it is perfect for me, as someone who had the fold a couple of years ago and loved the ideas of a folding phone, i just could not get on with the size of the device struggling to fit it into my pocket so had to move to the flip 7. The the passport size came along, yes a little larger than the flip 7, but omg the size is just perfect, the display is great and bright, battery is night and day to my old flip 7 and the hinge just feels more premium and it fis in my pocket. It's the perfect middle ground and know am going to continue to love this phone.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smaller display of the front screen is a refreshing change in terms of how it fits in my hand when using it with one hand and the responsiveness of app continuity is great when changing between the two screens which is also helped by the snappy feel of the new hinge. I was at first cautious when using the inside larger screen due to older folding screens feeling delicate but the durability has been massively improved. The battery life of the phone is very comparable if not better than my previous phone, the iphone 16 plus which i got the larger size for the battery, so i dont have to be worried about using the new phone for productivity and media streaming all day and still have charge left until i go to sleep.

My Lavander colour tiny piece of tech Fold 8 is a masterpiece indeed 🫠 The "passport phone" stays charged almost 20 hours, fits perfectly in my hands ( girl hands, btw) , and now I have turned it pink all over, from the cover, to the screen 😄 I can't remember since I have written messages with both hands, and I love it . Opened for reading is something else. The hinge is strong and you can't see the middle line on the screen anymore. I am purely in love with it ❤️ 😍 💖

The z fold 8 is a nice miniature productivity powerhouse that can easily fit in my pocket. Taking quick notes, creating tasks on ticktick, feel better and more natural on the wider cover screen. Watching video and reviewing PDF files, Word documents, spreadsheets on the inner 7.6 in inner screen is also great, even better when you rotate it from landscape to portrait. Over all this is a nice well rounded phone and a lot of people can make use of this phone no matter the situation or location.

I watch a lot of YouTube videos to learn, read kindle books and fly often, so it's very convenient to have a phone, kindle size screen and tablet in one. It's a dream to have it all in a pocket size! The new width of the closed front screen makes it very comfortable to read and type without needing to fold the phone open. I find myself using it closed a lot more than before, saving battery life. Thanks, Samsung, for creating such a perfectly sized fold phone!

They're uncomfortable and impractical. This is the perfect form factor - so easy to hold, and the large folded out screen is amazing. Most importantly, it's a true joy to use folded as well because the screen is a perfect size. Feels great in the pocket too. So far the hinge has only creased a little so I just hope it's durable over time. If so, it's perfect. Not gone below 50% battery with moderate use on both screens, including games. Samsung, kudos. This is a game changer!

The size of the phone i thought maybe too wide, but I was mistaken it fits great in my pockets and feels good in the hand. The battery seems great too as I've had this since Monday (now Thursday night) and have been constantly using it and setting it all up etc. I have only charged it twice. It feels very well made, responsive and only time will tell if it's durability will be enough. But so far 5 Stars from me 😍

A big part is office work on the go including Teams, Outlook and CRM activities. With its new form factor it's easy to run a meeting and then do my email follow ups. Using social media apps are a breeze and the expanded display is vivid and smooth visually. The camera works great and the pictures are are crisp looking even in lower light. I love how the front screen is super useful and can run apps, get notifications without having to open the full phone. So far it's a great phone. I chose to upgrade from my Z Fold 5, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I thought that the Fold 5 was the best phone I had ever owned, but the Fold 8 quickly surpassed it. So easy to set up and transfer from my old phone. The folded size is brilliant, providing a smaller (but still spacious) area, but I still have the option to unfold the phone and utilize the HUGE landscape display. So much easier to use apps side-by-side. This phone really has it all. Absolutely thrilled with my purchase.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the z fold8, and the screen aspect ratio is a huge upgrade. ​The shorter, wider cover screen actually feels like a real albeit smaller phone, so typing isn't cramped anymore. Inside, the main screen opens up to a proper tablet shape instead of a weirdly tall square. That extra width makes reading, browsing, and watching videos way better. ​The Z Fold8 Ultra is just too awkwardly shaped for me. The standard Fold8 is much more practical day to day and gives you a true tablet experience when unfolded.

However the fold 8 is a fantastic addition to the line up, it fits so much more nicely into a pocket, and I don't feel I need to open it to take photos. The battery life so far is is tremendous, I get 2 days from a full charge. The display is crisp, bright, and the screen is as responsive as ever for a samsung device. All in all a great purchase. I even bought a second one for my wife, and recommended a colleague get one. Who subsequently has moving from iPhone in the process.

With the fold it’s easy to see everything clearly and thus don’t always need my glasses to see what I’m doing. So far the battery life is showing to be good and as I use my phone constantly that’s a bonus. Hope this phone lasts me as long as my last one, which I had for five years! Loved it so much I didn’t want a new one, but it was time and so far this one is much better. Still I have much to learn about all the capabilities of my new phone. I have always been...ok....with it's tall form factor but secretly admired the shape of the pixel fold. When they announced the fold 8....I knew I had to choose this one. The battery holds up well considering I've been on it all the time and it is yet to improve still. I would love to see Samsung Dex running natively on the inner display, it would be a total game changer, I also feel this form factor deserves the reintroduction of the sPen on the foldables, the cover screen is perfect for scribbling notes and the inner display for the inner artist. Furthermore, im very happy with my decision on the Fold8, I shall not look back...

Then after several different slab phones. I decided to try the Z Flip 5 then upgraded to the Z Flip7. This Z Fold 8 is the best of both worlds! The cover screen is enough to do your daily things like texting, phone calls, returning emails, and running apps. Then when you open is up....it's nice to have a bigger screen to watch videos and do multi-tasking. It's like having 2 for 1! Phone and mini tablet all in one device! This is such a game changer! Yes people will complain about the cameras. If you want a better camera go spend the money on a digital camera. This camera is enough to take pictures and post them online or send it to family. Honestly, for me, this such an amazing device! Great job Samsung!

The last foldable i tried was the fold 6 and wasn't sure if i was going to like this one. Let me tell you the new wide display is a game changer.                 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it's without doubt the greatest phone I've ever had, the dimensions of the new shape make it extremely small and pocketable, it becomes a mini tablet and it's the proportions. I've always had fold phones but they never quite worked perfectly. I've still like them however, due to being great multitaskers but this is on a different level when it comes to productivity and how you use the phone whether vertically or in landscape and it is just an absolutely fantastic device, super light, a good battery, it's a brilliant all-rounder and I play a lot of SimCity so from that perspective it's perfect. I've also linked my gaming backbone controller which isn't the perfect fit as you need to open the screen slightly to allow it which is a bit of a shame. However, it's still a fantastic device and a brilliant all-rounder. I think next year Samsung shoulo consider making this a premium device or at least equal to the Ultra, it needs to sort the cameras out. I know this was the test case but you've now quickly learned that this is the popular one so fix the cameras and you are winning.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Fold 8 because I wanted a phone that could genuinely replace both my regular phone and a small tablet, and it has exceeded my expectations. The large inner display is fantastic for reading, watching videos, multitasking, and getting real work done, while the outer screen is perfect for quick everyday use. The phone feels incredibly polished and premium, the performance is fast and responsive, and switching between screens and apps is seamless. I especially love being able to run multiple apps at once without everything feeling cramped. Despite all the technology packed into it, it still feels practical enough to use every day. There is a small learning curve when moving from a traditional phone, but after using the Fold 8, a normal phone already feels limiting. Samsung did an outstanding job with this one.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've upgraded from the S24 Ultra and despite some initial reservations about the durability and form factor, I've been proven wrong and couldn't be happier with the device. This form factor feels like the way forward. Amazing display. I had some reservations about the 4:3 aspect ratio but every app I've used so far displays perfectly, and is fully responsive. Apps such as Strava definitely look better when the device is unfolded and in portrait orientation. Overall, the shorter form factor makes the decice way more portable. I would caveat this with I do prefer the font on my device quite small, I think if you prefer larger font sizes you may lose some screen real estate. Typing on the keyboard is also very comfortable. I've found I actually use the device closed more than I do unfolded. When I do unfold the device; it's fantastic for media consumption; YouTube, gaming, reading all 10/10 and I'm also pleased with the battery life, the fast charging tops up the battery quickly, this was another of my main worries moving from the S24 Ultra. When folding and unfolding the hinge and durability overall is surprisingly strong, to the point where the device also works with external wrap around controllers, such as the GameSir X-5 making this device a real powerhouse for game streaming.

I have used other folding phones before and always felt like it was good but not perfect. I find myself using the phone more now then my previous device. The Fold 8 is so light and compact when folded. It's not bulky in pockets like earlier versions. The screen is beautiful too. Everything I have watched looks amazing. I would definitely recommend this phone to everyone.

The cover screen ration is perfect and I've been waiting for another phone to use this form factor for years. Samsung knocked it out of the park and brought their highly polished and extremely customizable experience along with them. I was sold the minute I saw the Fold 8. I've been playing with the device all day and I am very impressed. I can see myself using this one for a very long time to come and it makes me feel something no other modern phones have. Cannot wait to see how content and apps evolve to take advantage of this phone!

The format just works and feels perfect in your hand. Once you open up to the main screen something you don't notice, if you're looking for it, is the crease. The technology used to reduce the visibility and feel of the crease is a huge step forward, as is the anti reflective coating and brightness of the screen. Despite all that I keep switching back to the front screen and just smiling at it's perfection!

With it's wider aspect ratio, I find multitasking better, even more so than the ZFold8 Ultra, and all around better experience than any other phone device (and I've had plenty over the years). The larger foldable display is perfect for multitasking, reading, streaming, and getting work done without carrying a tablet. The display is really good, nice clean clear picture on both screens. Hinge is stiff but not too bad, enough to not accidentally open it Durability is good, feels like a good sturdy phone to use Responsiveness is exactly as you expect from a new phone. Upgraded from Samsung S23 and so happy I did. Though my S23 was still perfect, I watch tv a lot so this is better suited

Ive had iphones and pixels. My only complaint with my previous fold 5 was that it was difficult texting with such a small keyboard the phone needed to be opened to even use. Since ive been using the fold 8 i havent opened it more than 5 times and mostly for videos which are huge. Im surprised the wider fold 8 isnt the ultra its better in my opinion.

Also, I wish this phone had the sonic fingerprint sensor like the other newer galaxy lineups. Battery is mid tier, once the new ones get the silicone battery I'm sure it will be better. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and can't wait for the newer models. One more thing, the hinge is not as transparent as before but it's still noticeable which compared to the new oppo products, this fails in comparison.

I'll hold it horizontally for YouTube and when I want to scroll apps like Instagram turning the phone 90 degrees makes it a breeze Another thing I'm appreciating is the shape of the phone when it's folded. The shorter and wider form factor makes it so much easier to navigate and utilize apps with the cover screen. I don't feel like I need to unfold my phone every time just to send a text message.

                Really impressed with the new Galaxy Z Fold8! The new shape feels much slimmer and lighter, so it’s way more comfortable to hold and carry around. The big screen is perfect for watching videos, browsing, and multitasking, while the cover screen is super handy for quick replies and everyday use. Everything runs smoothly, and switching between apps is fast and effortless. The camera also takes great photos with nice detail and vibrant colors. Overall, Samsung has done a great job refining the Fold series. It feels more premium than ever and is definitely a foldable I’d recommend to anyone looking for something unique, powerful, and practical.

I was already considering it with the Fold 7, but with this new Fold 8, the passport-like display is perfect for everyday use, and it's responsiveness is great too with the new snapdragon processor. I get that after a while, the crease will start to show, but with the new hinge the crease is significantly less noticeable than last gen.

Still inputting passwords etc, but that is standard with all new phones. The display is very clear and the bonus was that the front screen can be used as an interactive screen. The battery life is an improvement on my old A53, the new display takes a bit of getting used to, but that again will come in time. So far a very good and durable phone.

Previously had the s24 ultra and still love that phone as well. But it was super top heavy and couldn't fit in purses etc. Folded out I love using the multiple apps. I keep forgetting the crease at all. Only downside is while charging and running apps it tends to get really hot. But maybe that's a sign for me for less screentime.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the zfold 7 and I chose the zfold 8 due to the aspect ratio. I felt like the full screen in the 7 is basically the same size as regular phones with black bars on top and bottom. This will be an awesome upgrade!

The aspect ratio is so much better that apps better, it feels better in the hands and the form compact is just perfect. So happy I upgraded to the Z Fold 8.This feels like the perfect phone.

It is beautiful to look at also. Highly recommend this phone! Battery is great, feels very durable and the hinge mechanism feels strong. Great for taking selfies. The display is beautiful to look at, colours are wonderfully vibrant. The touch screen is nice and responsive too! It's also a great conversation starter it gets people asking questions.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow just wow had slab phones all my life really wanted something different and the fold 8 hit the mark great screens good battery life put mine straight in a case as I can be heavy handed haven't had the phone long enough to comment on durability but feels sturdy hinge has a nice satisfying clunk when you open and close it new snapdragon chip makes this phone fly thrown everything at it from gaming to multitasking hasn't skipped a beat

The larger cover screen feels much more natural for everyday use, and opening it up into the tablet-sized display is fantastic for multitasking, reading, and watching videos.                 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dispay size is disieving along witb the overall thickness which is thinner overall than my last phone (S23 Ultra) when opened the hinge is seamless and the responsiveness of both the screens seems excellent the durability seems lkke it wouls last but to early to fully confirm along witht e battery but this is my thoughts everyone one has there prefernces not sure get into a store and try it i think you will be impressed
