                I have had multiple foldables from Honor over the last few years and this year I traded in my Honor Magic V5 for the Z Fold 8. And I am so glad I did. The form factor is far better, it's lighter, the display is epic, the crease is nearly non-existent, the battery is superb and holding the device in the hand is great. It's easily pocketable and is very snappy to use, very responsive and so far, I cannot say enough great things about it. I had questions about the camera but for standard photography, I really can't complain. I don't use a zoom lens so I don't miss the added camera in the Fold 8 Ultra. Superb all round device!

                Having held onto my S23 Ultra for the last 3 years, I was very tempted by the Z Fold 8 Ultra! However, in the end I opted for the Z Fold 8 because the form factor felt different. I am obsessed with how good this phone is to use just with the external screen and use that easily 80% but possibly 90% of the time. The battery is currently lasting me 2 days which is outstanding for such a small form factor. The foldable screen once opened is then truly something special. The phone is brilliantly responsive between screens and feels seamless. The camera is really only average when trying to zoom, but for normal photos of subjects nearby is perfectly acceptable.

                Am amazed by this device it is perfect for me, as someone who had the fold a couple of years ago and loved the ideas of a folding phone, i just could not get on with the size of the device struggling to fit it into my pocket so had to move to the flip 7. The the passport size came along, yes a little larger than the flip 7, but omg the size is just perfect, the display is great and bright, battery is night and day to my old flip 7 and the hinge just feels more premium and it fis in my pocket. It's the perfect middle ground and know am going to continue to love this phone.

                The smaller display of the front screen is a refreshing change in terms of how it fits in my hand when using it with one hand and the responsiveness of app continuity is great when changing between the two screens which is also helped by the snappy feel of the new hinge. I was at first cautious when using the inside larger screen due to older folding screens feeling delicate but the durability has been massively improved. The battery life of the phone is very comparable if not better than my previous phone, the iphone 16 plus which i got the larger size for the battery, so i dont have to be worried about using the new phone for productivity and media streaming all day and still have charge left until i go to sleep.

                Made the change from Fold 7 few days ago and don't regret it that's for sure. My Lavander colour tiny piece of tech Fold 8 is a masterpiece indeed 🫠 The "passport phone" stays charged almost 20 hours, fits perfectly in my hands ( girl hands, btw) , and now I have turned it pink all over, from the cover, to the screen 😄 I can't remember since I have written messages with both hands, and I love it . Opened for reading is something else. The hinge is strong and you can't see the middle line on the screen anymore. I am purely in love with it ❤️ 😍 💖

                I am blown away by this phone so far. For years I've said the trend of huge phones that just get taller is frustrating. They're uncomfortable and impractical. This is the perfect form factor - so easy to hold, and the large folded out screen is amazing. Most importantly, it's a true joy to use folded as well because the screen is a perfect size. Feels great in the pocket too. So far the hinge has only creased a little so I just hope it's durable over time. If so, it's perfect. Not gone below 50% battery with moderate use on both screens, including games. Samsung, kudos. This is a game changer!

                Battery so far appears to be good, display is awesome, durabiliity will.tell te tale further down the line. The hinge is super important and I will ensure that it is always protectedlastly the responsiveness is fast the only issue is when the cover is on the buttons are not not readily or easily accessible as the cover is in the way. I opted for the z fold 8 instead of the ultra as I have had always the same ie ultra. The price and size compared is 100 % better choice as I got the z fold 8 512MB

                I'm loving this new phone, the display is great on the front screen and really comes to life when you unfold it, the hinge/fold in the main screen is totally unnoticeable. The size of the phone i thought maybe too wide, but I was mistaken it fits great in my pockets and feels good in the hand. The battery seems great too as I've had this since Monday (now Thursday night) and have been constantly using it and setting it all up etc. I have only charged it twice. It feels very well made, responsive and only time will tell if it's durability will be enough. But so far 5 Stars from me 😍

                What an amazing phone! The form factor has reshaped my whole outlook on what a mobile phone can do. This is my first foldable device and to be honest, I've been reluctant to make the switch but boy am I glad I did. The cover display on its own is so useful, I find I use it for every day stuff like emails and answering messages. But when I want to do a bit more, I open the phone and use that amazing large screen. That hinge mechanism is a thing of beauty! Battery life has been solid and is getting better each day as the phone optimises things. On my third charge I had about 35% left at the end of the day. Performance wise, the responsiveness of the display and OneUI is so slick and speedy. Awesome. My one remaining question mark is over durability but that will be answered in the time to come. The device certainly feels solid so I am expecting good things.

                Love that i can see my Lightroom pictures on this screen. Which is also the best size for streaming tv and films. A good clear display. The battery time is longer than I expected. The keyboard layout on the unfolded screen is perfect. Love that there is no line on the display around the hinge. The responsiveness between small screen and open screen is seamless. 4/5 stars only because I would love this screen to be able to have a stylus.

                The device was easy to set up and use straight out of the box. The dual screen is a game changer. I can now read attachments straight from email in full view and be more efficient with my time. The hinge seems very strong and does not impare any viewing on the main screen. The phone is compact and folded is smaller that me Galaxy S24 Ultra which is a plus, however, when unfolded provides a more substantial viewing screen.

                I was skeptical to begin with as to the new shape having owned a z fold 5 for a couple of years. However the fold 8 is a fantastic addition to the line up, it fits so much more nicely into a pocket, and I don't feel I need to open it to take photos. The battery life so far is is tremendous, I get 2 days from a full charge. The display is crisp, bright, and the screen is as responsive as ever for a samsung device. All in all a great purchase. I even bought a second one for my wife, and recommended a colleague get one. Who subsequently has moving from iPhone in the process.

                As always I find Samsung phones easy to use. With the fold it’s easy to see everything clearly and thus don’t always need my glasses to see what I’m doing. So far the battery life is showing to be good and as I use my phone constantly that’s a bonus. Hope this phone lasts me as long as my last one, which I had for five years! Loved it so much I didn’t want a new one, but it was time and so far this one is much better. Still I have much to learn about all the capabilities of my new phone. Being of the older generation I will take my time.

                This is the perfect phone/tablet for me, it's given me a really decent lightweight android version of an iPad mini that does everything I need a small tablet to do which just so happens to fold in half and fit perfectly in my pocket, then in phone mode it's got such a great outer display that works so well for photos, maps, pdfs, browser etc etc. it's so thin and light it's ridiculous that it's even possible! Battery life is so good easily a day sometimes even two, Screen quality is perfect, hinge feels great, I could go on and on and on

                Blown away by the Z Fold8 , great form factor and size, the inner display is absolutely beautiful and in a small way feels it quite large, its the first foldable im really happy with, it's built for durability and just feels solid, with a solid hinge and yet easier to handle than previous versions. The battery holds up well considering I've been on it all the time and it is yet to improve still. I would love to see Samsung Dex running natively on the inner display, it would be a total game changer, I also feel this form factor deserves the reintroduction of the sPen on the foldables, the cover screen is perfect for scribbling notes and the inner display for the inner artist. Furthermore, im very happy with my decision on the Fold8, I shall not look back...

                ive only had the phone 24 hours, but amazed at how light and thin it is. its very responsive and the displays on both the internal and external of the phone are unbelievably clear. i look to forward to seeing what sort of battery life i will get compared to my galaxy 23 Ultra. The storage uplift in the 2 phones has left me with space to spare.

                I've been using the Galaxy Z Fold8 for a short while now and I'm genuinely impressed. The display is stunning, both inside and out, and the larger screen is fantastic for multitasking, reading documents and watching videos. Performance is incredibly responsive, with apps opening instantly and everything feeling smooth. The hinge feels solid and well engineered, giving confidence when opening and closing the phone. Battery life has comfortably lasted me through a full day of normal use. Samsung has also refined the software experience, making great use of the foldable screen with useful multitasking features. Overall, this feels like the most polished Fold yet. It's expensive, but if you're looking for the best foldable experience available, it's easy to recommend.

                it's without doubt the greatest phone I've ever had, the dimensions of the new shape make it extremely small and pocketable, it becomes a mini tablet and it's the proportions. I've always had fold phones but they never quite worked perfectly. I've still like them however, due to being great multitaskers but this is on a different level when it comes to productivity and how you use the phone whether vertically or in landscape and it is just an absolutely fantastic device, super light, a good battery, it's a brilliant all-rounder and I play a lot of SimCity so from that perspective it's perfect. I've also linked my gaming backbone controller which isn't the perfect fit as you need to open the screen slightly to allow it which is a bit of a shame. However, it's still a fantastic device and a brilliant all-rounder. I think next year Samsung shoulo consider making this a premium device or at least equal to the Ultra, it needs to sort the cameras out. I know this was the test case but you've now quickly learned that this is the popular one so fix the cameras and you are winning.

                So far I'm loving it. Takes a while to get used to the inner screen but the display is amazing. Too early to comment on battery but so far seems way better than old flip 7. It also looks beautiful. Opening mechanism feels much more intuitive than flip.

                The Z Fold 8 is frankly stunning and a refreshing change it what was becoming a stale phone market. The format just works and feels perfect in your hand. Once you open up to the main screen something you don't notice, if you're looking for it, is the crease. The technology used to reduce the visibility and feel of the crease is a huge step forward, as is the anti reflective coating and brightness of the screen. Despite all that I keep switching back to the front screen and just smiling at it's perfection!

                I've upgraded from the S24 Ultra and despite some initial reservations about the durability and form factor, I've been proven wrong and couldn't be happier with the device. This form factor feels like the way forward. Amazing display. I had some reservations about the 4:3 aspect ratio but every app I've used so far displays perfectly, and is fully responsive. Apps such as Strava definitely look better when the device is unfolded and in portrait orientation. Overall, the shorter form factor makes the decice way more portable. I would caveat this with I do prefer the font on my device quite small, I think if you prefer larger font sizes you may lose some screen real estate. Typing on the keyboard is also very comfortable. I've found I actually use the device closed more than I do unfolded. When I do unfold the device; it's fantastic for media consumption; YouTube, gaming, reading all 10/10 and I'm also pleased with the battery life, the fast charging tops up the battery quickly, this was another of my main worries moving from the S24 Ultra. When folding and unfolding the hinge and durability overall is surprisingly strong, to the point where the device also works with external wrap around controllers, such as the GameSir X-5 making this device a real powerhouse for game streaming.

                It is almost 7pm and today I have used tiktok, prime video, camera and WhatsApp throughout the day and my battery is at 77%. The display is really good, nice clean clear picture on both screens. Hinge is stiff but not too bad, enough to not accidentally open it Durability is good, feels like a good sturdy phone to use Responsiveness is exactly as you expect from a new phone. Upgraded from Samsung S23 and so happy I did. Though my S23 was still perfect, I watch tv a lot so this is better suited

                Honestly, I'm really happy with it. It's so much lighter and slimmer than I expected. It fits in my pocket with no problem and is really comfortable to carry around all day. It just feels right in the hand. Definitely my favourite thing about the Fold8 so far.

                Love the new form factor as its easy to carry and also lightweight. The hinge is springy and feels durable enough to last many years, the display is nice and clear and when it's unfolded its like a baby cute tablet! The phone is equipped with the latest snapdragon processor which makes multi tasking a breeze and the new battery chemistry should make it last longer.

                I have been using Samsung folds since the 5 one. This is a nice welcome addition to the line up. Take a bit of getting used to but again Samsung have pulled it off and it's great. The hinge is strong and durable and the crease you can hardly see at all. Display is great for watching films, YouTube gaming anything you need to do. It's so responsive too.

                Absolutely in love with this phone! Foldables have gotten to the point where I can say they're worth the transition over to. I was already considering it with the Fold 7, but with this new Fold 8, the passport-like display is perfect for everyday use, and it's responsiveness is great too with the new snapdragon processor. I get that after a while, the crease will start to show, but with the new hinge the crease is significantly less noticeable than last gen.

                So far (I've only had the phone for 3 days) I have found the feel, weight and overall performance to be great. Still inputting passwords etc, but that is standard with all new phones. The display is very clear and the bonus was that the front screen can be used as an interactive screen. The battery life is an improvement on my old A53, the new display takes a bit of getting used to, but that again will come in time. So far a very good and durable phone.

                I am a 5 year long Z flip user, so took some time looking and researching this Z fold 8! I am so glad I saw the potential and future of this device. Unpacked it just got better and better. The look is outstanding, the feel divine. The switch was so smooth and quick. Great battery life over what I've had - but you do really need to buy an up to date magnetic charger for it. Now! It's durability is a time related issue, so all I can say is 'looking good so far'.

                The phone is light and compact so fits in your pockets perfectly but when opened out is like a mini tablet. The quality of the screen is great so perfect for watching shows and films whilst on the move. The battery seems to last really well. I even used power sharing and the battery still lasted better than my flip 8. I love the whole look and feel and the fact you change perspective on the front and inside is brilliant. I am soooo happy

                The "Goldilocks" phone - not too big, not too small, just right. Not so techie it's too expensive, but also not missing anything you really need. Fits in your pocket but folds out to a perfect media consumption platform. Battery life is genuinely insane. Regularly finish the day with over 40% despite heavy usage. Software has a few minor imperfections but I'm sure updates will fix that over time.

                It's a beautiful device and runs amazingly well. The new spring-loaded hinge is so satisfying; it feels like I'm opening it for the first time every time. The aspect ratio display is perfect. The inner screen feels a lot more sturdy and durable, which is always good, and the battery is noticeably better. Coming from the Z Fold 6, the jump from only two generations definitely feels like a massive leap for the better.

                Love the size, I can do all I want from the front of the phone and when I want to read, watch or just expand the content can open it up. Companies moved away from phones that were easier to carry and did everything the big block phones did. Samsung have rediscovered the lost/ignored market and deserve to do well.                 Amazing phone, size is perfect for use as a phone "closed" and also as a tablet "opened". Love everything about it. The device is exactly what I need. My only feedback would be to purchase an ultra thin case to protect it and ensure that the thinness of the phone is maintained because the thicker covers almost detract from the pleasure of having such an amazingly designed product.

                I've never had a fold device before and this is perfect for me! The size is perfect as I am petite, so I can easily use this phone with one hand. The battery lasts me all day so far and no issues. I really like the display and how smooth everything runs. I was scared of the durabilitity and have a case on my phone, even though I've read that the hinge and phone are pretty good!

                The display is amazing with the new wide main screen changing wallpaper on the out screen leaves some looking disjointed but it's not major. The new hinge and durability is great the phone is super responsive with looking up things on Google the battery is really.good it last all the way though a day in work checking bits and checking on other things .

                I've been using Samsung Fold phones for the last few years, but there's something about the Z Fold 8 that I absolutely love. It's lighter, much easier to type on, and the crease in the middle is practically gone. The display looks brighter, and the hinge feels incredibly well-crafted. Samsung has really refined the experience with this one.

                The display is very sharp, hinge is very nicely closes the phone. It is same as fold 7 apart from few better tec.I hope Battery is better then Z7 because that did nor lost full day with few calls and media usage . Can not tell about durability in one day usage.

The battery life lasts me a full day with around 40% still left whereas the s25 needed charging Round teatime to get me through the day.. the display is amazing on both the outer and inner screens. The hinge is smooth and the screens are responsive. I have put a case on to ad extra durability.

Battery life excellent, new screen and ratio excellent 2 things not liked, one speakers on one side of device so no stereo audio and 2 usb type c connecter on bottom of phone so still on bottom when opened makes it a nightmare for stand everything else top notch

                Love the new aspect ratio, possibly the best phone for content consuming especially when pairing with the Buds 4 Pro. Great battery life too easily last the whole day with heavy usage. Fingerprint reader is as quick as it can be. Anti reflective screen protector however should be there straight from the box.

                I have upgraded from a zflip7 because I wanted a bigger screen. It was definitely worth it! I am a knitter so being able to see my patterns clearly I needed the ability to adjust the size of the font. The display is amazing, and by pinching outwards, with two fingers, I can get to the desired size.The phone is responding quickly to tasks. The hinge feels safe and secure. I don't have any worries about durability due to having the zflip previously. I can honestly say that I do not notice the crease at all, and I watch alot of videos on my phone. I also love the fact that the front screen is user friendly too, if you don't want to unfold. Overall I am really impressed with my new phone. By the way I am 57 years old, and if I can use it anyone can. I would highly recommend, especially if you are into social media, as the shape of the screen, when opened out is perfect! Battery life appears to be good, although I have only had my phone a few days. Charges very quickly.

The smaller display when the phone is closed takes some getting used to but it's a fair compromise as the phone comes into its own when fully opened.

                Size in pocket and hand is great. Folded out it is great for watching videos. However, still to find a case that allows phone to stand up in landscape mode. Lesser MP on camera yet to try out for quality. And the crease is near invisible 👌
                I recommended this product.

                I like the compact style of the fold 8. The transfer from my old phone to the fold 8 was easy. My only gripe is that some apps dont work smoothly when the fold 8 is folded i.e instagram etc. It would be good if in folded position apps took up the whole screen once opened.

                Batterylife easily lasts a full day displays are bright and high quality and are of Great aspect ratios for content and not too big and easily 1 handable on the outer display the device feels very durable the hinge feels durable and solid and touch responsiveness is practically instant

                Love the size of it can carry it in your front pocket. The weight of it feels great also the battery lasts all day without having to charge it!! Also love watching different things when you open the fold up. Overall love the Z8 fold phone

                Just love this form factor, it's small, and big! Perfect in so many ways. The screen crease is almost inconceivable, the battery is amazing, what more is there to say, what a fabulous device this is. Try it. You'll love it....

                I had a Flip5 for the last three years, but as soon as I saw the new Fold, I knew I had to get it. The front screen is fantastic, and it feels incredibly comfortable to hold. It’s a huge upgrade, and I’m really impressed with it so far.

                I absolutely love my new device. Easy to handle, very responsive and lightwieht. So used to the flip, but visually small. No going back to the flip for me as long as samsung keep this fold with a much pleasing screen size 😁😁

                really like the phone it's my first foldable I've been with Samsung for ages but pretty easy to use it was a bit worried that it was a bit small but actually when you open it up it's great so looking forward to using it more
