They're just as fast or faster than the original memory. The 2tb of space is absolutely recommended it's a luxury to install multiple large games without worrying about space which with games getting larger is nice. Plus with the larger size you don't worry about slowing transfer speeds either.

Installing it into my ps5 was super easy, I had never done anything like that before so if I can do it, you can too. You need a lot of storage especially with the size of games these days. They can range anywhere from just a few GBs to over 100GBs so being able to have 2TB of extra storage is a game changer and a lifesaver.

You could spend more getting a disk that has more throughput, but you aren't likely going to benefit from that. This disk is wicked fast for not a whole lot of cash, all things considered.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unbelievably fast! Coming from a Gen 3x4 crucial drive, this blows by it without breaking a sweat! Windows 11 loads in under 15 seconds. Moving from one drive to this one, it writes faster than the old drive can read and, with the motherboard heat sink installed, barely reaches 60 degrees C! A no brainer for any creative work loads. Gen 5 maybe faster than this gen 4, but for my use, would be an absolute waste.
